HERE'S HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER!
      Any person drawing retirement allowances from the State Teachers' Retirement System of Ohio or other State Teachers' Retirement system is eligible to join both local and state organizations. Decide which level of membership you wish to join (annual or life member).  Click on the membership form found at this site and fill out the information.  You can pay for membership at one of our meetings. (OR) You can send the membership form and a payment check for dues made out to Clermont County Retired Teachers Association to our treasurer, Jan Dumford, at 4 Comanche Court, Loveland, Ohio 45140.  A link to the membership form can be found at the bottom of this page.

       Clermont County local dues are: annual dues $5 - life member $40.
       ORTA State dues are:  annual dues $30- life member $500 which can be paid in full, in two payments of $250, or in four payments of $125.

       New members paying annual dues membership get the balance of their first year free making their membership expiration effective through the following year.  For example if one joins in April, 2011, their expiration date is 12/31/12.  Existing annual members paying dues within the first six months of the year have an expiration date of December 31 of that same year.  If they do not renew before July 1 their expiration date is December of the following year.
     
HONORING OUR OWN!
      Book memorials have been given to honor former teachers. In the past five years, books were given to Clermont Public Libraries in memory of Kathryn Marr, Cheryl Ringer, Wallace Maw, Trixie K. Wildey, Rachel Althaus, Allie Livengood, Marilyn Matthis, V. Alexander, Paul McGreevy, William McCormick, Lowell Gingrich, Jeanette McOwen,  Dorothy Trisler, Ruth Wilson, Jeanette Moore, Gladys Ruark, Boyd Smith, Charles Ungetheum, Lester Mohrfield, Ruth Boggess, Martha Roush, Margie Combs, and Barbara Moore.
